Dr. Ted Corbin, Director of the Healing Hurt People program, was presented with a Social Action Award on May 9, 2009, by the Quaker City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The presentation was part of the sorority's annual Poetry Cafe event and was held at Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia.
